This pushrod tube with spring is designed for use in the engine of a Citroën 2CV. The part guides and protects the pushrods between camshaft and valves. The integrated spring keeps the tube under tension and helps limit engine oil leakage. The design supports stable lubrication and smooth operation of the valve train. Dimensions are matched to the engine layout of the 2CV4 and 2CV6. It is used during maintenance, overhaul or replacement of worn or damaged pushrod tubes in the engine’s valve mechanism, restoring correct function of the pushrod guidance and oil containment system.
