SYNCHRONIZER RING 3/4/5

This synchro ring supports correct operation of third, fourth and fifth gear in the gearbox of a Citroën DS. The component aligns rotational speed between gears and the sliding sleeve. This reduces wear on the gear teeth and promotes a quiet and even gear shift. The ring works together with the existing shift components in the transmission and contributes to reliable power transfer. The outside diameter is 75.5 millimetres. The product is suitable for use in gearboxes with similar dimensions and technical requirements within the same vehicle series and comparable transmission layouts.
