CHOKE CABLE

This choke cable is suitable for use in older vehicles of the Renault R4 type up to model year 1979. The cable provides the mechanical link between the choke control in the interior and the mechanism on the carburettor. The construction supports consistent operation and supports reliable engine starting in cold conditions. The length of 810 millimetres is matched to the vehicle layout of this model. The cable sheath gives protection against friction and external influences. The inner cable runs in the guide and supports a direct transfer of the manual control movement to the engine compartment and the choke unit.
