DOOR STOP

This door check is used for controlled opening and holding of a vehicle door in fixed positions. The part limits the opening angle and protects hinges and bodywork from overload. It is used in older Citroën van models with raised cargo section. The design consists of a metal arm with pivot points and a housing mounted to the body. The door side has a matching seat for stable guidance. The door check operates through a mechanical system and needs little maintenance in normal use. It is suitable as a replacement when the existing door retaining mechanism shows wear or damage.
