PRISE AXLE

This input shaft is a drivetrain component for Citroën ID and DS models from the 1966 production year onward. The shaft connects gearbox and clutch and transmits engine torque to the transmission. The product is suitable for both four and five speed gearboxes and fits into the original vehicle layout. The design takes into account alignment of rotating parts, support of the clutch disc and guidance within the gearbox. This supports stable transfer of power, limits unwanted movement and helps maintain reliable operation of the drive system and gearchange mechanism.
