CRANK HOLE RUBBER

This crank hole rubber closes the opening around the starting handle of the Citroën DS produced from the mid to late sixties. The rubber limits entry of water and dirt through the front area. It supports the position of the crank and reduces friction against surrounding parts. The material is matched to the stress and shape of the body panel. This helps maintain the function of the mechanical starting facility. The fit follows the contours of the opening in the sheet metal and contributes to protection of the engine bay and nearby components during driving and when parked.
