CLUTCH THRUST BEARING

This release bearing is designed for use in older passenger cars with a manual transmission. It enables disconnection between engine and gearbox by applying balanced force to the clutch pressure assembly when the clutch pedal is pressed. The design fits specific classic Citroën and Renault models produced until around 1970. The bearing works together with the clutch fork and the diaphragm spring of the clutch plate.
